Held at the International Red Ribbon Graphic Festival

The exhibition section of the International Red Ribbon Poster Festival was inaugurated at Mellat Cineplex & Gallery. The festival exhibition opened on Sunday, 16 Khordad 1395 (June 5, 2016) at 16:00. The festival began last Bahman (January 2016) with three sections: workshops, national competitions, and invited international participants, receiving over 600 submissions from countries including the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland, France, the USA, Greece, Mexico, Italy, South Korea, Russia, China, Ecuador, Iraq, Switzerland, Kyrgyzstan, and Iran. The selection and judging of the works were carried out by Alexandra Faldin (Russia), Michael Eva (USA), Byung Il Song (South Korea), Elmer Sousa (Mexico), Christopher Scott (Ecuador), Onish Amin Elahi (Iran), and Mohammad Ardelani (Iran), along with the expert team from UNAIDS and the Peyam-Avaran Hamyari Institute, who selected 91 works from the workshops and competition for exhibition. Honored at the 6th International Persian Gulf Poster Festival, Tehran

According to the Secretariat of the 6th International Persian Gulf Poster Festival, the winners were introduced and honored at the opening ceremony of the festival’s exhibition. Mohammad Ardelani, Secretary of the 6th International Persian Gulf Poster Festival, noted that the festival’s works focused on topics such as the Three Persian Gulf Islands and the Persian Gulf as a key factor in Middle Eastern security. He added that the pre-selection and jurying of the works admitted to the exhibition were conducted by Byung Choi (South Korea), Rafiq Al-Mansi (Egypt), Maria Papifstachio (Greece), Anwar Uskan (Turkey), Iraj Mirzaalikhani, Arash Tanhaei, Homa Delourai, and Hossein Mohammadi Vahidi (Iran). The final selection of top-ranking works and award winners was carried out by Finn Nygard (Denmark), Sergey Serov (Russia), Richard B. Dabbled (USA), Orhan Ardahanli (Turkey), Ryszard Kaja (Poland), Ebrahim Haghighi, and Mohammad Ardelani (Iran). He expressed hope that by expanding the dissemination of works produced for this event on social media, searches for the term “Persian Gulf” on the internet would increase, thereby further reinforcing the legitimacy of the Persian Gulf nationally and internationally, while highlighting the name of Iran and Iranians. Poster Competition (Original and Copy)

“Selected poster for the 6th International Poster Competition (Original and Copy), Vögeligärtli Group Exhibition, Switzerland, 2019.”    For the sixth consecutive year, the poster festival Weltformat has announced a competition for students. The theme: Original & Copy. At what point does the copy of a style become something new and original? When does a copy just remain a copy? In addition to the prize money of 1500 CHF, the winning poster will be on display nationally, courtesy of APG|SGA. The five-member judging panel, under the direction of graphic designer Jiri Oplatek, has selected 20 promising posters for the final from almost 1000 entries which were submitted by 500 students from all over the world. The winning poster from the competition will be announced at the opening of the festival on the 24th September at 6pm in the Kornschütte.
