Opening of the “I Want to Be Different” Exhibition in Ardabil

According to Nasim Ardabil, Navid Achgan, the curator of the exhibition, announced the opening of the “I Want to Be Different” exhibition and said that the first experimental group exhibition of visual arts titled “I Want to Be Different” was inaugurated on September 9, 2024, at the “Ghavam al-Din Ardabili” Art Gallery located in the Fadak Cultural and Art Center, with the presence of officials, senior cultural managers, veteran artists, artists, and art enthusiasts.

Regarding the exhibition, Navid Achgan noted that 90 artworks focusing on “hope for the future, Iranian culture and civilization, and nature” were presented by 20 art students from Mohaghegh Ardabili University. He emphasized that the exhibition is the result of several months of effort by the students, who through their persistence succeeded in creating a memorable exhibition.

Speaking about the artistic journey, Achgan stated that expressing emotions has always been an inseparable part of an artist’s life, serving as a guiding light along their path. He stressed that artists who work with love for culture and art are valuable and deserve appreciation.

The exhibition showcases works by: Hasti Arjmand, Aisa Andarabi, Sara Hadadi, Sevil Khorasani, Sadaf Khalilpour, Sanaz Rezapour, Saba Rezapour, Sama Zare’, Mobina Sobhani-pour, Aylin Sattarzadeh, Mi’ad Shabanpour, Elmira Gholami, Roya Farkhi, Shaghayegh Mohasen, Parya Mohammadi, Fatemeh Mohammadi, Mehna Najafi, Sana Ne’mati, Deniz Nobakht, and Kimia Nouri.

During his visit to the exhibition, Amir Rajabi, Director General of the Culture and Islamic Guidance Office of Ardabil Province, described the creative activities of the participating artists as remarkable and promising. He added that the office will make use of every opportunity and resource to support artists and cultural creators in the province.

Visitors may view the exhibition daily from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the “Ghavam al-Din Ardabili” Art Gallery, located in Ardabil, Basij Square, Sarbazan Gomnam Boulevard, within the Fadak Cultural and Art Center.
The gallery will be closed on September 12 and 13, 2024.
