Acceptance of an Article by Ardabil Artist Navid Achgan at the 9th National Conference on the Foundations of Iranian Visual Arts The 9th National Conference on the Foundations of Iranian Visual Arts, held with a focus on “Illustrating Literary Texts” and the theme “Exploring the Continuity Between Art and Literature through New Interpretations in the Illustration of Iranian Literary Works,” was organized in collaboration with the Iranian Association of Visual and Research Arts.The conference took place on February 28–29, 2024 (9–10 Esfand 1402) at Imam Reza Hall, University of Sistan and Baluchestan. In this academic event, 42 research papers were accepted in line with the conference’s thematic areas, of which 23 papers were presented through four in-person panels and one virtual panel held simultaneously. Among the accepted papers was an article by the Ardabil artist Navid Achgan, titled “The Impact of Light and Color in Iranian Painting.”During the conference, Achgan delivered a speech on this topic, explaining: “In Iranian art, color represents existence, and light plays the central role. Color has always been an influential element of art throughout human life.
