Unveiling of the Books “Silent Standing Stones” and “Pottery: A Document of Identity” in Ardabil

According to Nasim Ardabil, the books “Silent Standing Stones” and “Pottery: A Document of Identity”, authored by Navid Ahchgan, were unveiled at Ketab Shahr Ardabil with speeches from Dr. Hassan Yousefi, along with professors and artists in attendance. Dr. Yousefi spoke about the history and antiquity of the Shahriyeri standing stone site, stating: “The Shahriyeri site was first identified in 1978 by the English archaeologist Charles Burney. The first excavation season at this site took place in 2003 (1382 in the Iranian calendar) under the supervision of Dr. Nobari, an archaeologist and university professor, for over a month. The goal was to classify the megalithic graves and identify nearby ancient sites. On 29 September 2002 (1381/07/07), the site was officially registered under number 6162 as Shahriyeri and the Ushaghlar School.” One of the unique historical sites of Meshginshahr County is this Shahriyeri site, which was once a town and settlement. According to Dr. Yousefi, before the first millennium, during the Neolithic period, this area was inhabited and was part of a thriving regional civilization. According to Nasim Ardabil, Ayatollah Seyed Hassan Amoli, speaking to artisans and handicraft enthusiasts of Ardabil on the occasion of World Handicrafts Day at the Khatayi Gallery of the Sheikh Safi al-Din Historical and World Heritage Complex, stated: “Ardabil province must introduce its talents to the world more than ever. There was a time when the province’s entire industry relied on handicrafts, and people’s daily lives were intertwined with them. Even without modern advancements, handicrafts exhibited remarkable human ingenuity.” He added: “In handicrafts, we must strive for greater refinement and higher quality in production. The second and third volumes of the Historical Encyclopedia of Ardabil have been published

According to Nasim Ardabil, Seyed Mehdi Javadi, the scientific and executive head of the Historical Encyclopedia of Ardabil, announced in a meeting of the Scientific Council of the encyclopedia that the second volume, covering the counties of Moghan and Meshginshahr with 579 pages, and the third volume, covering the counties of Khalkhal and Kosar with 293 pages, have been prepared. With the approval of Ayatollah Seyed Hassan Amoli, the province’s representative in the Assembly of Experts and the founder of this project in Ardabil, and the endorsement of the Scientific Council, these volumes have been published in a limited edition by Mohaghegh Ardabili Publications. Opening of the “I Want to Be Different” Exhibition in Ardabil

According to Nasim Ardabil, Navid Achgan, the curator of the exhibition, announced the opening of the “I Want to Be Different” exhibition and said that the first experimental group exhibition of visual arts titled “I Want to Be Different” was inaugurated on September 9, 2024, at the “Ghavam al-Din Ardabili” Art Gallery located in the Fadak Cultural and Art Center, with the presence of officials, senior cultural managers, veteran artists, artists, and art enthusiasts. Regarding the exhibition, Navid Achgan noted that 90 artworks focusing on “hope for the future, Iranian culture and civilization, and nature” were presented by 20 art students from Mohaghegh Ardabili University. Opening of the “Khosh Gheyrat” Poster Exhibition in Ardabil

According to Nasim Ardabil, the “Khosh Gheyrat” poster exhibition was opened on Thursday, June 8, 2023, on the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Hamidreza Aldaghi, with the presence of officials from cultural and artistic organizations at the Shahram Rezaei Memorial Art Gallery of Ardabil Art Bureau.
